Leon is a management professional who brings over thirty years of experience in architecture, construction, construction management, facilities maintenance, and related fields managing complex, multidisciplinary projects for both the public and private sector. Representative project types have included commercial, residential, and transportation facilities such as airports involving all phases of work.
He has served on the Board of several non-profit organizations and has volunteered on numerous community programs over the years.
As an Architect, Leon is a strong proponent of the importance of Architecture in our society in helping create a healthier, secure, and sustainable environment.
As an A.I.A. member, he understands and values the role that the A.I.A. has played and continuous to play in our profession: A leader in advocating for our profession, recognizing individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievements in support of the profession of architecture and the AIA, and in creating an atmosphere where you can meet other architecture professionals with shared interests, expertise, and experience.
With his passed leadership experience, and a strong sense of duty and responsibility to help, improve, and expand the A.I.A. at the local chapter level he has taken an active role as a board and committee member.
